Term time only plus inset days (39 weeks a year)

Post Title: Midday Meals Supervisor

Salary: Scale 1 Point 3 

Fixed Term to 31st December 2027

We are looking to appoint a motivated and energetic person to join our hard working and friendly team. 

 

The successful applicant should have: 

  • Proven experience of supervising children in a paid or unpaid capacity
  • Experience of supporting pupils with additional needs
  • Understanding of the importance of the school meal / packed lunch and the midday break as a social and educational occasion
  • Understanding of the importance of safeguarding and children’s wellbeing
  • An ability to work as a member of a team
  • The ability to relate to pupils and to deal with them patiently and firmly using positive strategies
