Job Introduction
Electoral Registration Canvassers (Temporary, Part-time)
Part-time canvassers are needed for house-to-house visits.
You will be required to visit assigned properties and attempt to complete household enquiry returns and individual registration applications, using a hand-held mobile device(tablet). You would work between Late September to Mid November 2025. You would work flexibly, mostly in the evenings and at weekends (typically 5 days each week) during the period. You will be assigned a specific area in the Royal Borough of Greenwich to canvass. This role will include a lot of stairs and walking between addresses.
Experience of other face-to-face working with residents / customers would be an advantage. You should be reliable, self-organising, and capable of working to detailed instructions without supervision. You will need to manage your own time. Training will be given before the start of work which you must attend. Payment depends on results but is likely to average £500-£900 gross (OTE) over the period of employment.
