Job Introduction

Pension Board (Member Representative)

The Royal Borough of Greenwich Pension Fund (the Fund) is seeking to recruit a Scheme member representative to its Local Pension Board. This will be a voluntary position.

The role of the Board is to ensure the Fund is complying with legislation relating to the Local Government Pension Scheme and any requirements imposed by The Pensions Regulator. This is a great opportunity to represent members of the pension scheme.

The position is open to those who have the capacity to represent members of the Fund. Those interested in the role should have an understanding of the Local Government Pension Scheme. The applicant must have the capacity to attend two to four meetings and ten hours of training a year.

If you feel that you would be suitable for the role, the Royal Borough of Greenwich invites you to submit a supporting statement:

  • outlining how you meet the requirements of the personal specification and what relevant skills and abilities you have for the role
  • explaining your capacity to represent the Fund membership
  • that is no longer than 1000 words

Please send your completed application form to Pension-Board@royalgreenwich.gov.uk

The closing date is 10th October 2025.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview.
